Change Challenge Update: Found a Nickel
Normally I don’t create a separate post for every found coin, however I finally found something bigger than a penny: a nickel! So that makes only two non-pennies I found in my travels (a quarter in Vancouver, and a nickel last night in Toronto)
Yay me.

The Change Keeps on Flowing
I haven’t written about the Change Challenge in a while, and boy, does it ever show! M & I both found a bunch of change on the ground during our recent vacations, which was great, but M keeps on consistently finding change even during her regular tours around town. She just switched desks today at work, and bam! She found three cents sitting in the drawer of her new desk. *sigh* At this rate she will be kicking my butt all over the place. I updated the progress bars in the sidebar there on the left, however the percentages aren’t adjusting properly so it looks like we’re tied, when we’re not. M is significantly in the lead! So far we’re at:
Me: $0.43
M: $0.75
Well done M, and keep those eyes to the ground.

Change Challenge Update – February
So the year long Change Challenge continues, and both Melanie and I have plateaued. We’re both trying to remember to look around on the ground for change, as it is definitely a paradigm shift for both of us, however we’re trying. I found another penny at work on Friday so that brings me close to double digits, but still under $1. Let’s hope we can do better over the course of the whole year than last year’s challenge.
