About

Thanks to the kindness of my parents, I was able to graduate from university many moons ago without any student debt. My problems began when my bank gave me a line of credit. My brain seems to be able to comprehend the idea of a credit card, and how it should be paid off every month, but the mysteries of a line of credit seem to escape me. $5 here and $10 there, and suddenly I’m into 5-digit debt within 7 years. Utterly ridiculous.

I am currently working, so there shouldn’t be any reason why I cannot pay this off in a reasonable amount of time. I also want to build up my emergency fund, in case my job prospects suddenly change, and also work towards working freelance full-time. That way I can travel around the world visiting friends and family without worrying about work.
