Look at all those zeroes

I’ve been feeling rather rich this week, as I had both my regular pay cheque AND my year-end bonus sitting in my bank account. It’s kind of nice to see all that money in there, and so I luxuriated in it for a bit. (read: a day or two) Then I immediately paid off the new bed, so that’s all taken care of. Then I calculated what I had left over, and split it: 50% to one of my credit cards, and 50% to my emergency fund. Next up was my pay cheque, which I used to pay off my current set of debts & bills.

Sigh.

And just like that, it’s back down to a normal amount. Even then, it’ll only be for another week or so, when I have to pay off other bills.
