First Pinecone Survey

Pinecone Research CanadaLast week I completed my first Pinecone Research survey, and earned $5. In the online survey world, Pinecone is one of the holy grails, because it pays $5 a survey, which is a lot. Most of them only offer you a chance at a prize, or perhaps a dollar or two, so $5 is wonderful. But it’s hard to become a member of Pinecone, as they don’t offer referral links or anything to their members. You have to simply surf around and find one of their banner links. I had been waiting for them to show up in Canada, and they did at some point in the last few months (or maybe it was even over the last year). At any rate, after a bit of research for one of the banner codes (you can do that too), I found one and signed up. But signing up isn’t a guarantee of acceptance. Luckily you find out really quickly if you got in or not, about a day or two afterwards. I found out about a day after I sent in my application, so I was pleased. I did have to wait several weeks (read:4) before getting my first survey though. But I’m glad I did, because I earned $5 for it, which is a great little snowflake, and it’ll be added to my snowball in a few days. (They pay out via PayPal a few days after the survey’s complete–again, a very nice thing.)
