High Spend Day, Ouch!

Yikes, today was a high spend day I’m afraid. I have been quite good over the last few weeks though, which I’m happy about, but today I was caught up in the fact it was Friday, it was a nice day outside, and it was the last day for one of my colleagues. We went out for lunch ($20), and then for drinks after work ($20), and then dinner and another pint ($20). Yowzers.

But it was fun. Does that justify the 60 bucks I spent today? Probably not, but thankfully I don’t do this every week, so I should be okay for this excess.

But damn it was a fun day. The winter was just so horrible weather-wise and also spiritually for me that it was nice to spend some time outside with some good company and good beer, you know? <sigh>
