Making Extra Cash with Online Surveys
For the last number of years I’ve been participating in free online surveys. The survey company sends me a survey to ask my opinion on a number of different topics. Most of the times I’m not paid, however a few of the companies offer points that I can redeemfor rewards, one lets me redeem for cash, and the other’s pay a small honorarium, usually a few dollars. Surveys done by Canadian companies aren’t as lucrative as some of the American sites, but lately I’ve been debating signing up for one of those paid-for-survey aggregator sites, to see if I can increase the amount of money I can make. The one I’ve been looking at specifically is SurveyScout.com.
You pay a one-time fee of $34.95USD, and you get access to their website where they’ve got lists of companies that will pay you to drive, eat, watch, shop, play games, and read. All of these categories are slightly different, so that if you don’t want to do that activity, you don’t have to, yet you still have opportunity to earn money. This is a key thing for me, since I live in Canada. Some of these companies’ opportunities might not apply to me since I’m Canadian, but there would still be a big enough list that I would have an opportunity to earn money.
They’ve even got some tools to help you with your surveys, like a survey form filler so you don’t have to keep typing in your name & address at each site, and insider newsletters to help you maximize your earning potential. They even offer a 60-day money back guarantee, so that if you’re not satisfied, you can get your membership fee back.
So dear readers, do any of you do paid surveys to earn some extra cash on the side? How much are you earning? right now my earnings aren’t enough to really make a dent in my debt, which is why I’m considering adding SurveyScout.com to my list of things to help out with my debt. What do you think? Is the $34.95 a good investment?
