Here we are, another month worth of number crunching for you. And while I knew that moving would increase my debt by a certain amount, I didn’t think it would go up by $4140.51! But of course that’s because I had to pay first and last month’s rent, as well as pay the movers, and buy a few odds and sods for the new apartment. There are quite a few more things I could buy for the apartment, however since they’re not urgent items, they’re going to wait until I manage to get back down under my original debt amount. So without further ado, here you are:
Total Debt: $22895.13 (+4140.51 from last month)
Debt Paid off This Month: Not applicable since I went back over my original debt amount.
Total savings this month: $200 + 200 = 400 (not including interest)
Emergency Fund total: $ 1,701.37 (including the savings interest!)
One good thing about the new apartment is that I’ll be saving about $60 a month in rent/utility expenses, so I’ll be able to put that back into my debt repayment to help out with that. My friend Melanie and I have also stopped going out for dinner before our weekly trivia game, which saves me about $20 a week as well. My weekly trivia game only costs me $3 for the game, and $6 for a pint of Amsterdam Blond lager, which includes the pint + tax + tip. So I’m pleased that I’m able to save a bit of cash for that. I think I may have to forgo the weekly trip to my friend’s shwarma place on Thursday’s though. *sigh* It’s really wonderful food, however it’s not an expense I need to do. (Trivia is necessary though, as it’s a fun way to get out of the house.
)
Stay tuned for some aggressive belt tightening over the next several months, as well as some aggressive eBay selling. Another good thing about moving is that I was able to go through a lot of my possessions and see that I’ve got some great stuff to get rid of, so I’ll be doing that for sure. I found a box of my father’s old stamp collection, so I’ll definitely be going through that and selling them off to various philatelists who can use the stamps.
Cheers, and hope you all have a great February!

I have short content about identity theft and this is a good topic for your readers to be aware while surfing the world wide web. If it is okay, I would like to post a brief content about Identity fraud /theft into your blog, this content is just simple but has a great meaning for all of us.
