Starting off the New Year with A New Income Stream

While cruising through the various blogs I read on my online reader, I came across one talking about a new paid blogging site called smorty.com. It works like all the others out there, in that you’re posting to your blog for money. You get to choose the opportunities you blog about, so that it makes sense for your blog. They’ve got quite a selection going right now, although I haven’t found many that would be appropriate to this blog just yet. However don’t fear, you’ll be seeing more of these later on. I like the fact that their website is very well laid out, after you log in. You see the opportunities on one side, and with a few easy clicks, you’re getting paid for blogging! It also didn’t take long for my blog to get approved, so that’s also a plus. I’ve applied to a few others that just took forever to process. This took less than two weeks (unfortunately I don’t recall the exact date I applied, however I know it wasn’t too long ago.) As I’m always on the lookout for new income streams, this one seemed like an easy thing to do.

Smorty.com is also great if you’re looking to generate new advertising traffic to your website, as an option to consider if you’re looking for some blog advertising. Seeing as this is a personal finance blog about how to get myself out of debt, I probably won’t take advantage of their advertising services, however if you are in the market, go take a look.
