The gadget gene in my family runs strong and true. You know what I’m talking about, that feeling that you have-to-have the latest technology gadget. My grandfather had it, my father had it, and both my sister & I have it. Although thankfully I have been able to curb my technology purchases over the last few years, but I do so enjoy surfing websites and seeing what I could buy if I really wanted to.
My latest obsession is searching for discount computers. A good site to look at is Techbargains.com, which has some great features, like coupons and rebates, and even an RSS feed that gives you the up to date info on the latest deals. That makes it easy to keep track of when that computer I want goes on sale. The folks here do all the work for you so that you just have to sit back and wait for the deal to pop up somewhere, and then you can go buy. That makes it a good ROI, since you don’t have to do much at the beginning, and the item you’re looking for will hopefully be found.
A handy feature on the website is the Find Lowest Prices feature, which lets you search all sorts of places on the Internet from one page. I think I’ll be bookmarking this site and page once my “new computer” piggy bank is nice and loaded
Sites like this make it hard to ignore my gadget gene, but I have been resisting quite well…wish me luck.
